Ahead of Women’s day on 8th March, we thought we would share three (well actually it’s four) super cool women who founded their own businesses and are doing some amazing things for equality and the planet.

Whitney Wolfe Herd, founder and CEO of Bumble. This year she became the World’s Youngest self-made female Billionaire at 31. She set up her first company at 20 selling bamboo tote bags and five years later, she founded Bumble (a dating app built around an ethos of equality).
Jenny Costa, Rubies in the Rubble founder. Her brand saves loads of fruit and veg from all over the world from ending up in the bin by turning them into jams, chutneys, and lots of other delicious condiments.
Kimberley Dobney and Ciara Shine, the two founders of Turn & Flow. They developed a recycling system for organic menstrual care products, and converting them into useful by-products such as renewable energy and fertilisers, instead of landfill.
