We designed this mix to fit your routine, whatever your favourite method.
Hot porridge
Combine 50g of mix with about 140ml of liquid. For the best taste and creaminess, we recommend cow's milk or your favourite plant-based drink (go for soy if you want to maximise the protein). You can also make it with water, but bear in mind you'll lose some of the rich flavour and velvety texture.
- In the microwave: the quickest method. Heat for about 90-120 seconds (stirring halfway through) and you're good to go.
- In a saucepan: just 2 minutes over a medium heat, stirring until it reaches the thickness you like.
The secret to creaminess: if you've got an extra minute, let the porridge rest after cooking. It's optional, but it lets the chia seeds and oats soak up more liquid, making the porridge even creamier.
Overnight Oats
If you don't even want to switch on the hob in the morning, mix 50g of mix and about 140ml of liquid in a jar the night before and leave it in the fridge. When you wake up, breakfast is already waiting: fresh and naturally velvety.
Protein Upgrade: for an extra protein boost and an even richer texture, stir in a spoonful of Greek yogurt (dairy or soy) at the end. The yogurt adds a pleasantly tangy note and an irresistibly creamy consistency.
Customise your bowl: extra notes and toppings
The mix already has a bold character and a pleasant crunch thanks to the chopped peanuts and the spicy touch of cinnamon. But if you fancy a different twist or a little extra sweetness, here are our favourite pairings:
- For more sweetness: mash half a ripe banana into the porridge while it cooks; the heat brings out its natural sugars. Or top it with fresh blueberries for a juicy, refreshing note. You can also add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
- For an indulgent touch: add a teaspoon of 100% peanut butter or a square of dark chocolate. As they melt into the hot porridge, they make every spoonful even richer and silkier.
- For extra crunch: if you love bold textures and want the crunchy part to shine even more, sprinkle an extra handful of chopped peanuts on top before serving.
